The DJI Cellular Dongle 2 is a 4G (LTE) cellular modem with a USB-C port, a nano-SIM slot and two antennas, which is inserted into the drone and enables Enhanced Transmission over the 4G network, as an additional link alongside the radio transmission. It weighs approx. 11.5 g, measures 43.5×23.0×7.0 mm, is powered at 5 V / 1 A and operates from −30 °C to 65 °C. It is compatible with the DJI Air 3S, Air 3, Mini 4 Pro, Matrice 4T, Matrice 4E, Matrice 4D, Matrice 4TD, Matrice 400 and Dock 3. It is intended for use by trained persons and is not a toy.
Warnings:
- Read the DJI user guide before use.
- The modem does not include a SIM card. Use only a compatible nano-SIM card with a data plan, purchased at your own expense from your local operator.
- The modem may get hot during use. Do not touch it while it is in operation.
- Do not connect the modem to unspecified devices, as it may be damaged. The specified devices are Windows computers and compatible DJI devices.
- The antenna cables must be firmly connected and routed neatly without being pinched. Poor connections or routing degrade transmission performance.
- Enhanced Transmission relies on the 4G network and may cause lag or stutter. Fly only in areas where the 4G signal is at or near full strength. Do not rely on the 4G network as the only control link.
- The Mini 4 Pro requires the mounting kit with 4G antennas. Users must also apply for a class identification label change through the official DJI channel.
- The product and its service are available only in some countries and regions. The service comes in two regional versions (Chinese mainland and the rest of the world), and DJI may terminate the service at any time. Follow local laws and the DJI Cellular Dongle Terms of Service.
- Small parts can be dangerous if swallowed. Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not open, disassemble or modify the equipment. Do not use it if it is damaged.
- At the end of its life, hand in the equipment at a WEEE collection point; do not dispose of it with household waste.
- Comply with aviation law and communications regulations in your country before flying.
